| Vapour-Tight Fixtures Engineered for
Hazardous Locations |
The Series LPR Back
Access Luminaires have sealed and gasketed designs approved for hazardous locations where
vapours, dust and flying fires could accumulate. All mechanical features have been
recommended by industry experts for durability, ease of installation and maintenance. |
| Specification Features |
| Construction |
Thermal consideration
has been given to ballast, lamp and socket location for cool operation and long component
life. Sockets are 1500 MA, made of durable high temperature melamine, specially designed
by Lighting Dimensions Inc for all enclosed luminaries. The spring-loaded turret style
provides for simple maintenance. Lamps are F48T12, F96T12 and F40T12 (by others), suitable
for 1500MA/800MA/430MA ballasts. |
| Tempered Glass Lens |
| Our standard lenses are prismatic glass
crystal, tempered for safety and long term durability. |
| Mounting Flange |
All fixtures can be
custom built. The housing is constructed of heavy gauge Cold Rolled Steel with a mounting
flange that becomes an integral part of the booth wall preventing dust from entering as
the booth ages. All standard mounting flanges features quarter-inch mounting holes (bolts
by others). The fixtures when horizontally mounted must be installed with hinge in top
position. Optional: Stainless steel and Galvanized mounting flange and door. |
| Servicing |
The front access door
opens inside the booth on a continuous piano hinge, and spring-loaded captive,
quarter-turn connectors are used around the door for greater accessibility. Lens and front
access door are triple sealed with silicone-free, closed cell material suitable for
exposure to M.E.K. and M.A.K. vapours. |
| Special Options |
For safer servicing,
the optional Micro Switch cut-out de-energizes lamps when the access door is opened.. |
