The Series MFL
Luminaires are sealed and gasketed for all clean room applications including inspection
and assembly line lighting areas. Available in ceiling mount and swivel styles these
fixtures deliver as much as possible directly to the task. |

| Construction |
Thermal consideration
has been given to ballasts, lamp and socket location for cool operation and long component
life. Sockets are 1500 MA, made of durable high temperature melamine, specially designed
by Lighting Dimensions Inc for all enclosed luminaires. The spring-loaded turret style
provides for simple maintenance. Lamps are F48T12 and F96T12 (by others), suitable for
155MA/800MA ballasts. |
| Lenses |
| For even light distribution, the
standard fixture features a prismatic acrylic lens. A Prismatic tempered glass lens or
clear glass/automotive louvre lenses are also available. |
| Housing |
The fixtures feature
heavy gauge Cold Rolled Steel housing. Lenses and access doors are triple sealed with a
silicone-free closed cell material to protect the lens. |
| Servicing |
The front access door
opens on a continuous piano hinge. Spring-loaded, captive, quarter-turn connectors are
used around the door for easy opening. |
| Special Details |
The swivel style MFL
optional brackets improve the flexibility of the fixture allowing it to be aimed at a
particular task area or object. The fixtures are finished in high gloss white baked enamel
with minimum 89 percent reflectivity. |
