These energy efficient fixtures are engineered to meet the stringent safety standards required for maximum and medium institutions including security cells, grooming areas, corridors, day rooms, and sally ports. Our lighting fixtures are also suited for use in minimum security institutions, and vandal resistant applications such as psychiatric wards, schools, and recreation areas.

Lighting Dimensions Inc’ luminaries are virtually indestructible. Maximum security designs are constructed with a housing of rugged 14 gauge cold rolled steel, and every fixture is seam welded and ground for a smooth finish. Concealed hinges and hardened, tamper-proof screws make unwarranted access impossible. For maintenance purposes, the fixture’s ballast is mounted by thru studs and lock nuts for easy installation and ballast replacement.

Our corner and wall mount fixtures (at 45 and 90 angles), along with our recessed luminaries, can be easily bolted to walls and ceilings.

With suicide prevention in mind, all security luminaries are free of protrusions, and sloped frontal components prohibit objects from being attached to the fixture.
